Architectural Assistant / Technician
BIM Coordinator
Architect ARB/RIBA with minimum of 2 years post RIBA Part-3 qualification.

Main Responsibilities:
• Working across all the RIBA work stages
• Liaise directly with the Project Lead to develop the building design
• Analyse the brief and prepare drawings and presentations for review with the wider project team, including client, local consultants, and engineers
• Participate in design team meetings and coordinate with consultants & relevant statutory authorities to further the building design
• Develop design models, drawings, studies, schedules and construction detailing in collaboration with individual members of the project team
• Assist with coordination of the project generally
• Attend client meetings and presentations as necessary
• Maintain SNHA drawing standards and contribute to the firm knowledge base
• Proficient in Revit and BIM360 Model Coordination & Document Management
Required Skills:
• Excellent Revit skills are essential
• Experience in RIBA Stages 3, 4 and 5 is beneficial
• Strong technical skills/detailing experience
• Some experience coordinating projects in a BIM environment. Experience with BIM 360 platform is preferred
• Previous experience with Data Centres and office buildings is preferred

• Research and solve basic problems independently
• QA/QC’s own work for graphic legibility and accuracy of own work

• Works efficiently and deliberately to meet project milestones
Required Skills:

BIM Coordinator

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate BIM Coordinator to join a young BIM team and develop and define processes and practice standards.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who can work with our talented architects developing our BIM protocols and standards and defining the SNHA BIM environment. The candidate should have a drive for innovation and technological advancement, they should be a multi-tasker who can handle a fast-paced environment, while maintaining an emphasis on detail and quality.
The BIM coordinator will act as the technical hub in the BIM process from project kick-off to the final close out of a project, facilitating the coordination efforts among the entire project design team.
The position is open to UK-based applicants only, who have prior experience working in the architecture, engineering or construction industry. The candidate should demonstrate excellent technical capability, plus possess great interpersonal and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
• Assist in the coordination efforts of the entire project team including external disciplines and contractors within BIM environment
• Be the ‘go-to-person’ for ‘how to’ and project troubleshooting in Autodesk Revit and its associated apps, add-ins and utilities
• Coordinate and upload the full architectural delivery at major deliverables milestones to project technology platforms such as BIM360, Newforma or SharePoint
• Check models for consistency, make proposals for model adjustments and discuss with the team and relevant consultants. Weekly model audits
• Monitor the implementation of possible adjustments to the models in order to optimise workflows. Undertake clash detection exercises as required
• Use advanced tools such as Navisworks/BIM360/Glue360 for project collaboration across multiple disciplines in a BIM environment
• Combine the federated model, merging various disciplines involved in the construction process, using certain protocols, programmes and structure
• Ensure compliance with Project BIM execution plans and BIM EIRs
• Liaise closely with the associates and project lead in the design development of the scheme with regular interim meetings
• Effectively communicate and work with every level of employee from general end-users to high-level managers and directors
Required Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit: creation of families; troubleshooting
• Fluent with BIM360 design (Doc Management and Design Collaboration)
• knowledge of Ideate Software: BIMLink and Explorer, Dynamo
