The Lisle Library District has partnered with SNHA for the renovation of its 2-story building located at 777 Front Street. The proposed design features the relocation of the main entrance currently on the east side of the building to the north side, the installation of a drive-up window for guests, and the creation of an additional entrance on the south side connecting to a larger parking lot. Additional features include relocating youth services to the first floor to help increase accessibility, the creation of a designated teen area, and an outdoor space for community events.

“The proposal really focuses the improvements on the public areas of the library,” said SNHA’s Don McKay. “This is an effective way to control the budget of the project by reutilizing as much of the existing library building as we can.”
