Genevieve loves doing anything in the great outdoors: hiking, backpacking, skiing, snowboarding, water sports, etc. – just not parachuting, which she tried when she was 18 years old and says she won’t do again. If she’s not on water or a trail, she always looks forward to spending her time collaborating with other designers at City Open Workshop.
Originally from the West Coast, Genevieve earned her B.A in international Studies Comparative Development from the University of Oregon and her Master of Architecture from Portland State University. She also spent time in Spain while earning her Master of International Coorporation Sustainable Emergency Architecture from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. As a designer, Genevieve aims to critically engage architecture while centering environmental equity and social and racial justice.
Genevieve taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade English for two years.
