Born in South Korea and raised in Guatemala, Jin speaks multiple languages and enjoys spending his free time sketching, hanging out with his dog, Jack, and producing music. He used to deejay at events, but found he’s more comfortable working behind-the-scenes helping with the technical side of things.
As a designer, Jin is inspired by the story behind the design. For instance, how The Jewish Museum Berlin by Daniel Libeskind brings a sense of discomfort to visitors to make a physical relationship between the building and the Holocaust. He earned both his bachelor’s degree and Master’s in Architecture from the University of Illinois-Champaign.
Jin is most comfortable speaking Spanish.
