Lissette was born in San Francisco, raised in Miami and is of Nicaraguan descent. After studying music for ten years she decided that auditioning was not in her interest and therefore focused her attention on design and architecture as another means of creative exploration. While studying architecture she was adamant on developing an interdisciplinary background in order to better address diversified design projects. She has spent the past 17 years of her academic and professional careers combined participating in works which include fabrication & research, K-12 and higher education, workplace design and municipal projects. Outside of the office, Lissette likes to travel extensively, attend concerts, music festivals, exhibitions, volunteering and anything that includes her dog.
She has a musical background that spans over ten years and has an identical twin sister.
