Ken Allen

Associate | LEED AP | Chicago, IL

As an avid tennis player, Ken has a trick up his sleeve. He can serve with his left hand, but then switch to the right hand, throwing his partner off their game. After more than two decades of practicing architecture, it’s still unclear if being ambidextrous has influenced his project management ability – but it certainly hasn’t hurt. Ken is continually motivated by the process of project delivery, working with clients from day one to the final close out documents. He feels especially fortunate to have worked on a diverse range of project types throughout his career. Ken earned a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

Ken is also an ambidextrous bowler. He chooses left or right, depending on the pin he needs to hit.
