The Yin to Laura’s Yang is keeping one foot in the past and one foot in today’s world. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is also the founder of the not-for-profit Preservation Berwyn & Restoration. On the other side of the coin, however, Laura also possesses a keen eye for high-tech and mission critical projects. Whether it’s historic homes or data centers, she loves working in architecture because of the constant opportunity for discovery, problem solving and invention aspects. Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Nebraska.
Laura once created measured drawings of the Neutral Buoyancy Simulator for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center.
