Silvana Trischmann

ARB, RIBA | London, UK

Born in the German Democratic Republic in the small town of Rodewisch, Silvana was 12 years old when the Berlin Wall came down, drastically changing her life and broadening her opportunities. Soon after earning her Master of Architecture from the Technical Institute of Dresden, Silvana moved to London where she lives with her husband and two kids.

As an architect, Silvana likes to be involved in creating architecture that has a positive impact on how people feel while they are using it. She’s fascinated by buildings that offer different interesting viewpoints and angles like her favorite building in London, the Lloyd’s of London by Richard Rogers.

Silvana used to be a member of The Newham Jazzers, a volleyball team in Stratford predominantly made up of professional Jazz musicians.
