Originally from the city of Pittsburgh, PA, Waylon is a passionate architect who finds inspiration in the natural world and the power of love. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, engaging in activities such as casting sculptures and playing music. Waylon’s motivation as an architect stems from the beauty of the sun, the use of contextual materials, and a deep appreciation for the existing ecosystems around us.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, earned in 2017, and recently completed his Master’s in Architecture from the University of Michigan in 2021. Waylon’s diverse interests extend beyond architecture, as he is also a licensed kayak instructor and an active participant in his family’s folk band. With a holistic approach to design and a belief in the interconnectedness of the world, Waylon continues to explore innovative ways to harmonize human creations with the natural environment.
