Sheehan Nagle Hartray Architects Hires Catherine Murray as Principal
Full-service architectural firm cites impressive employee growth for 2020
CHICAGO (August 28, 2020) – Chicago-based Sheehan Nagle Hartray Architects (SNHA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine Murray as Principal.
Murray comes to SNHA from O2 Design (formerly oslund.and.assoc.) where she served as principal of the Chicago office. With over 30 years of experience in urban design, planning and landscape architecture, her ability to creatively tackle complex design challenges has produced award-winning solutions nationally and internationally.
Specializing in mission-critical, education, civic and commercial design projects, SNHA offers architectural design, interior design and predesign services including site selection, program definition and feasibility studies.
“We are excited to welcome Catherine Murray as our newest Principal at SNHA. In recent years, a new sort of design work has emerged with our large technology clients. With this work comes advanced forward-thinking and next-level strategic planning, analyzing, and researching new ways to create. Catherine joins us to help lead these new initiatives while bringing a new voice and a new perspective to the broader leadership of the firm,” said Timothy Conner, AIA, LEED AP, SNHA Principal.
Adding further to its senior leadership team, SNHA recently welcomed Anthony P. LoBello as Director of Business Development. Drawing on his experience at Gensler and SmithGroup, LoBello will assist SNHA in strengthening relationships within its key markets while expanding opportunities for new service offerings.
The addition of Murray and LoBello marks both innovation and growth at the firm; SNHA has made a commitment to expanding its creative capacity and range of expertise with continued virtual onboarding since the global pandemic began in March.
“We are fortunate to have enjoyed continued growth through recent unprecedented events,” said Don McKay, AIA, SNHA Principal. “Catherine, Tony and the many others who have joined us in recent months are important additions to our team — talented professionals who will help us achieve our long-term goals.”
