Serap Kosucu

London, UK

Before moving to London in 2017, Serap spent six years living and working in Istanbul, Turkey where she began her career in architecture. In her free time, she likes to read, dance, and travel to new places where she’s always looking for a new trail to hike and and historical buildings to photograph.

As a designer, Serap is especially inspired by architectural design that reflects nature, as she believes it to be the strongest method carried over from the past to present. She also finds inspiration in historical buildings and their reflection of particular periods in history. Serap holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Trakya University in Edirne, Turkey and a Master’s Degree in History and Theory of Architecture from Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul.

Serap has a pocket list of cities she wants to visit including Sydney, Prague, Cape Town, and Moscow.
